During many years cruising Europe and the Caribbean with my husband on our sailing boat I explored the possibilities of multi-coloured linocuts.

I found “reduction prints” the most suitable method in my situation. I was limited in the size of my prints and was limited in the amount of linoleum I could store aboard.

The reduction print is in effect a way of printing many colours from the same  block rather than using a different block for each colour. The following prints are

a)      a selection of my boat based pictures and

b)      more recent works executed in my studio in Australia.
