A Brief Glimpse
Throughout my personal and working life I have gained considerable knowledge and experience. From owning my own business, rebuilding a motor vehicle engine, building and installing computers and networks, maintaining motor vehicles, to cooking for eighty in a Greek restaurant. I believe in honesty, hard work and common sense.
I have experience in a lot of areas including - hospitality, plumbing, cooking, landscaping, electrical, sales, carpentry, entertainment, marketing, mechanical, freight, promotions and painting (hand and basic spray painting).
I have operated all types of equipment including - forklifts (gas, petrol, electrical), motor vehicles (car, motorcycle, and MR ), landscaping (ride-on & lawn mowers, chainsaws, brushcutters, whippersnippers, concrete mixers, trailers, various hand tools), building (circular, band and bench saws, drill press, lathe, various hand tools) and mechanical (various hand tools, air tools), electrical (voltmeters, ampmeters).
The Hospitality and Tourism Industry has given me experience in all areas from - Cellar, Kitchen, Restaurant, Entertainment, Gaming, Back Office, Front Office, Security and Bar.
I am confident in all facets of these operations including - Stock Control, Cost Control, Rostering, Financial Procedures, Banking, Staff Control, Purchasing, Payroll, Office Procedures, Food Operations and Beverage Operations.
Throughout my own businesses I have gained considerable experience in one to one sales, having supplied some of the best restaurants on the Sunshine Coast such as Café Le Monde, Tangoes, Wok On Inn (Noosa), Montville 128 and Pisces, to name five of my 32 clients.
I have also had considerable experience in one to one dealings with Financial/Credit Institutions such as the National Australia Bank and Brismark (Brisbane Markets financial body), and fully understand the importance of budgets and bottom lines.
I also successfully put together my own Contract of Sale and sold my Fruit and Vegetable wholesale and retail business by myself (saving myself thousands of dollars in legal fees).
I am a “hands on, conscientious, courteous, willing, punctual, hard working, intelligent, original, creative, practical, well organised, reliable, responsible, positive, pleasant, polite, honest, industrious, energetic and humorous person”. Above all I am a friendly person with an outgoing personality and find it very important to give my best at all times.

I am computer literate with Microsoft Products at an intermediate level.
I have used Windows 98, 2000 and currently have Windows XP Professional.
I also use Microsoft Office 2003 Professional, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
I have had experience with Networking, Desktop Publishing, Document Layouts, Forms Design, Formatting and Resumes.
I am also confident in the training and instructing of people in the use and operation of computers at a basic level.
I have a basic understanding of Web Design having created my own site but would like to learn more.
